How to clear ASM disk headers in oracle solaris

1. Show the ASM disks:

   root@solaris:~# ls -l /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2
   lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 47 Nov 17 15:44 /dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2 -> ../../devices/pci@0,0/pci8086,2829@d/disk@0,0:c
   root@solaris:~#

2.  Clear the Disk Header:

root@solaris:~#   dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/dsk/c1t0d0s2 bs=8192 count=12800
