Chain of custody (CoC) is a process that tracks the whereabouts and movement of evidence throughout its collection, analysis, preserving, and safeguarding lifecycle by document each subject who handled the evidence or the object. Moreover, CoC records the date and time the subject collect or transfer the object and the purpose of its transfer.
