We can check the ASM disk group size using the following DBA scripts:
SELECT name group_name , sector_size sector_size , block_size block_size , allocation_unit_size allocation_unit_size , state state , type type , total_mb total_mb , (total_mb - free_mb) used_mb , ROUND((1- (free_mb / total_mb))*100, 2) pct_used FROM v$asm_diskgroup ORDER BY name
Example:
SQL> SELECT 2 name group_name 3 , sector_size sector_size 4 , block_size block_size , allocation_unit_size allocation_unit_size 5 , state state 6 , type type 7 8 , total_mb total_mb 9 , (total_mb - free_mb) used_mb 10 , ROUND((1- (free_mb / total_mb))*100, 2) pct_used 11 FROM 12 v$asm_diskgroup 13 ORDER BY name 14 15 / GROUP_NAME SECTOR_SIZE BLOCK_SIZE ALLOCATION_UNIT_SIZE STATE TYPE TOTAL_MB USED_MB PCT_USED ------------------------------ ----------- ---------- -------------------- ---------- ------ ---------- ---------- ---------- DATA 512 4096 1048576 CONNECTED EXTERN 6289446 5252541 83.51 FRA 512 4096 1048576 CONNECTED EXTERN 511591 278989 54.53 REDO1 512 4096 1048576 CONNECTED EXTERN 20471 53 .26 REDO2 512 4096 1048576 CONNECTED EXTERN 20471 53 .26 SQL>
