What is nonrepudiation? How do we prevent nonrepudiation attacks?
Nonrepudiation is a cryptographic method of providing the sender of data with proof of delivery and assuring the recipient of the identity of the sender so that neither party can later deny that the data was actually transmitted.
Nonrepudiation is a security service by which evidence is maintained so that the sender and recipient of data cannot deny having participated in the communication. The sender and recipient are referred to individually as nonrepudiation of origin and nonrepudiation of receipt respectively. The best protection against nonrepudiation attacks will be digital signature and IPSec protocol.
