Oracle database vault and Oracle Audit vault

Oracle database vault is an integrated option of oracle database software that enables us to set a variety of access controls to implement an enterprise security requirements.

Some of the features and advantages of oracle database fault includes, but not limited to :

• Protects data from access by DBA and other privileged users by providing controls on privileged users
• Enforces separation of duties.
• It protects the structure of the database from unauthorized changes.
• provides real time access control

Oracle audit vault consolidates audit data collected and generated  from various data sources such as DBMS, operating system, application servers and so on  into a centralized audit database. And then enables us to do to analysis, reporting and alerts based on the data stored in the centralized audit database ( data warehouse).
