RACI Charts Template

Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed (RACI) charts used to denote key responsibilities in business processes, projects, tasks, and other activities in an organization. In addition, it assigns level of responsibility that individuals and group should undertake in some sort of business arrangements. And it helps to determine the roles that personnel will take in various business activities as well.

The four components of RACI chart template are briefly discussed as follows:

• Responsible: The entity that performs the actual work or task
• Accountable: The entity who is ultimately answerable for proper execution of the task and manages those in the “responsible” role of the chart
• Consulted: Entities who are consulted for their expertise, experience, insight and opinions on the work or task.
• Informed: Entities who are informed about the work or task by those in other roles of the chart.
