When trying to restore archivelog files RMAN fails with:
RMAN-06026: some targets not found – aborting restore
RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 2919 and starting SCN of 46971363825 found to restore
RMAN-06025: no backup of archived log for thread 1 with sequence 2918 and starting SCN of 46970066352 found to restore
What is the cause and solution for the above Oracle error?

Cause:
Generated backup pieces containing archivelog files were overwritten during the backup due to wrong output format.
Solution:
Make sure to use a format that guaranties unique names for the backup pieces.
