Single sign on (SSO) is an access control strategy that enables a single user authentication to be employed to sign on to a couple of separate but related applications in an organization. And the purpose of single sign on is to simplify access and reduce the effort required by IT personnel in managing access of users to organizational assets. And it lessens the overhead and effort required to manage user credentials.
