CCSP Certification stands for Certified Cloud Security Professional. It is world renowned and reputable cloud security certificate maintained by a non-profitable organization named as (ISC) 2, same organization that provides CISSP certification.

It is for advanced-level professionals with an IT and information security experience of at least five years. Candidates who are CISSP certified and in good standing will have a waiver for the entire CCSP experience requirements. However, if candidates do not have the required experience to earn the credential, they can successfully pass the CCSP exam and become an Associate of (ISC) 2

Cloud computing is one of the disruptive technologies and its popularity is increasing day by day. In other words, many organizations nowadays deploy their services in cloud platforms.   • Data Security (19%)
  • Platform and Infrastructure Security (17%)

  • Legal, Risk and Compliance (13%)

The exam is administered through Pearson VUE approved Testing Centers. It is multiple choice based and contains 125 items. Candidates will be able to work on the exam for a maximum of three hours. Furthermore, they must achieve passing grade of 700 out of 1000 points to apply for certification. Certified professionals should collect 30 CPEs (Continuing Professionals Education) annually for three successive years. Moreover, candidates must adhere to (ISC) code of professional ethics to retain earned credential.
